Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Uganda – Pearl of Africa

When you arrive in Uganda, an African Buffalo Safaris representative will greet you at the Entebbe airport and bring you to your accommodation. Enjoy the air from Lake Victoria, the world’s second biggest lake.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Today you begin your journey to Kibale Forest in western Uganda for the ultimate chimp trekking experience. Because of its large number of monkeys, Kibale Forest is renowned as the world’s primate capital. Before arriving at your resort in the forest, the ride will take you through the countryside, via colorful roadside markets and plantations.

Aside from potty breaks and stretching breaks, your major stop will be for lunch at Fort Portal, Uganda’s tourism center because to its gorgeous surroundings and attractions. After a traditional Ugandan meal, your driver guide will transport you to your lodge for the night, which will be either among the forest or in the crater lakes region.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast, your driving guide will transport you to the starting area, where you will receive a training on chimp trekking from the ranger guide. Following a briefing, you will be separated into groups and assigned a ranger guide to accompany you on the chimp trekking in the jungle.

Spend the morning walking through the Kibale jungle with the enthusiastic chimp families. Observe the chimps as they swing from the canopy’s high branches, eat, and play

In the afternoon, go on a walk in the Bigodi neighborhood and chat with the residents. Get a coffee making experience, a banana beer making experience, basketry, and learn how the medicine man deals with various ailments.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, your driving guide will pick you up and you will begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, traveling through the Crater Lakes region and enjoying views of the magical Rwenzori mountain ranges. Because the travel from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park is brief, you will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

After lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing and planning the next day’s plans, or go on a brief game drive.

Day 5:  Game drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth national park

The biodiversity of Queen Elizabeth National Park is the greatest of any protected region in East Africa. After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up to begin the morning game drive in our specially designed cars for game watching. The greatest time to see wildlife is in the morning, when predators are seeking for prey and before they go back into hiding. You will be transferred to the Kasenyi mating grounds in search of Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Elephants, Waterbucks, and Uganda Kobs, among other animals, against the stunning backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Enjoy a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel in the afternoon, heading towards Lake Edward in the park. You will get the opportunity to observe many creatures as they approach the water, as well as several birds.

Day 6: End of your Ugandan chimpanzee and wildlife Safari

Your Uganda chimp trekking and wildlife safari will come to an end here. Before heading to the airport for your journey back home, stop by the Equator monument for photographs, souvenirs, and lunch.
